so i just bought a 1989 turbo II

it runs good, but when i get it up to about 5000 and up rpms smoke starts billowing from the exhaust

but then when i shift and get the rpms back down it goes away..

wondering why it does that?

also after a semi long drive, i go to start it and it doesnt start right away

i have to give it some gas to start it

why?

sorry guys not familiar with this car...but i love it already

I'd guess I'd consider the turbo bearing.
