Everytime I go to start the car in the morning it does this wierd revving up and dropping down for like 5+ min. and the car always has this strong fuel smell especially in the morning. I have changed the Oxygen Sensor and spark Plugs and I cannot find out this problem.

Can anybody figure this thing out?

Pulsation damper...prolly..wouldn't drive your car if I were you, itll catch fire, no ****. Check the PD and see if its leaking.

My car did the same thing before I replaced the PD, so its worth checkin into...heres a link to the PD replacement. I'd run outside and check it if I were, just to be on the safe-side.

No, there are no leaks or anything like that under or around the car and it gets around 38 psi on the fuel pressure gauge.

Its not like its pouring gas out, to where you would see it. Its under the intake manifold, right behind the watar-filler neck. It only leaks a little bit, but enough to catch fire.

If it stinks like fuel, it's leaking somewhere--unless you left the gas cap off last time you filled it up. I'd find it before it finds you!

I saw this one truck on the highway with gas flying out from the gas door and onto the highway.

I have found out it was the purge valve when I was checking it and found fuel in it. The hose under the purge valve was broke.
