If I eliminate the coolant that flows through the BAC Valve, will it still work?

the coolant has nothing to do with the BAC. it just holds the line in place.

uhh if it was just to hold the hose there don't you think they would have just used a clamp instead of a piece of cast aluminum with nipples for the hose to connect to?
