The TB mod does not give you more horsepower. You may get better throttle response but not more horsepower.

When you say you removed your 5th and 6th port actuators, you mean you wired the ports open, right? With the ports wired open, it is said that you sacrifice low end power and may be why you do not feel the power you want.

You have done intake, exhaust. There is not much more you can do. Nitrous at the expense of engine reliability or look for a Tii.

There is only so much power that can be squeezed out of an enigine that came stock with 146 to 160 Hp at the flywheel when stock. You just cannot expect to get too much. So look for a turbo RX-7 if you want power. There are guys on here generating a lot of RWHP from a Tii.

You can get over 245 hp out of a Na motor at great cost. If you are looking not to rebuild and get the most bang for your buck I say start with stripping the car and build up some good suspension. It may not make it go faster but handling can be alot of fun. If you want straight line speed on the cheap I would go with good ol N2O. A wet system of 100 shot or less is not as harmfull as many belive and can be alot of fun.

Racing Beat upper intake and a good sidedraft carb with a distributor or a set of FI throttle bodies. With the TB setup you'll need an aftermarket EMS like a Microtech or Haltech. I've switched from the factory intake using a fuel computer to a Weber 48DCOE carb and the power increase was very nice.

My Disclaimer: The carb is not what makes more HP. Its just that intake setup(wether its carb'd or FI) works well with my stock port engine and RB header.
