Thumbs up

I bought a TII engine, turbo, tranny, exahust and its been sitting at my uncles place for a year and a half... and i'v been wanting to do the swap but because of econimical reasons and transportation i'v been putting it off. my question is this, if the engine is just sitting there, will it affect it in any way.... like rusting and anything in the inside of the engine, because i'm going to have money now and were moving to a house where i'm going to have space to do the work, am i gonna have to do a rebuilt???

Cover all holes with some rags and/or tape and put some atf in the engine. Turn it every few weeks, you dont' want the springs to flatten out over time. It should be ok. Make sure all the water is out of it.

Put some atf and carefully spinn it and see if you hear some compression.

The only time you will know is when you finally put it int he car and test it.
