I thought s4 was the oddball with threads, s5=fd=miata, I thought.

you are correct sir.



Rob, I do not know if you can swap a NA shifter into a turbo trans. I know the S4 Turbo shifter can fit in a S5 tranny.



The only thing you can do really is to try it and see if it works.
