rob the proper way would be to weld on a metal "patch" and sand it down smooth to the door, therefore negating the need for body filler, but also maknig a paintjob necessary, correct?

kevin.
Damn near imposible too.. maybe on an old car.. but on new cars the metal warps way too easily.. so a thin coat of filler is needed just to smooth it out.. I have not had a problem with my filler yet.. and it has been a long time.. over a year.. but the weather out here does not change drastically..

welds ends up rusting, that was the beauty of lead instead of welding.

Besides the only way to get a 100% wave free panel is to cover the ENTIRE

panel in bodyfiller and fair it.

Im not making FG doors, there would be a good deal of labor to make

4 molds

2 molds per door, one for inner, one for outer

There are FG fenders for our cars, how many people actually buy them?

Although I always thought FG fenders were silly considering that fenders are

one of the lightest metal body parts of our cars, like 17lbs

of im not mistaken. I guess someone made them

because they are easy to make.

I am going to make you FG sunroof panels and sell them cheap, so that

there will be no more rusting roofs, and ANYTHING would be better then

thru bolting a piece of home depot lexan to the roof that looks like ****

that I have seen recently

We need to end all the ghetto FCs, I know some people dont have the money

to do everything they want to thier cars, but its no reason to bastardize the car

and decrease the value and give the cars a bad name.
