That was a really good article. Both setups that were run on the 510 were drawthru though, right? I think its pretty much universally acknowledged now that a blow-thru is better in essentailly every way, except fot the increased plumbing. I'm planning on running a setup with a 48mm Dellorto DHLA that is on its way from Racer X. I haven't decided yet whether I'm going to run drawthru or not. One of the main disadvantages with the drawthru is crummy cold weather starts, but it never really gets below the 50's where I live, so thats a marginal concern. I would like to run an intercooler, but this seup is pretty budget for now. I think that most of the tuning issues can be settled with a real strong carb background and neurotic attention. Luck probably never hurt either

I think there was a safety concern with Draw-thru systems with an intercooler.. I think the risk was becuase the air running thru the intercooler has already been mixed with fuel, so it could explode..

That doesn't surprise me. I actually don't think I've ever seen an intercooler with a drawthru. If I decided I needed an intercooler I would just run a blowthru.
