I've been searching the Interenet looking for documentation of this recall. I found what I think is it on the NHTSA website. Link to recall.



I have have called the dealer back regarding the recall and they told me to bring it into the dealership tomorrow. I'll let you guys know what happens.

not sure what your saying, but if you have a S5 and the automatic seatbelts no longer work and they werent fixed yet under recall you can get them fixed for free.

I just got back from the Mazda dealer. They are going to replace both seatbelt assemblies at no charge. Best news I've had all week.

yes there were, my 91 had that problem so i took it down there and they replaced them both with brand new ones. whatever it takes to make them work they have to do, mine broke again so guess what they get to fix them again. wooohooo

actually even if they were fixed and break again they still fix them. cause if they replace them they are sopose to have a lifetime warrente on them. mine broke about 7 months after they fixed it and i called them and told them and they still said its free of charge
