Ok, well I just wanted everybody to know that my new motor shipped today and HOPEFULLY it will arrive by Friday, if not, it'll get caught up w/ labor day and not be here til later next week. Once I get the motor, I gotta go pickup a new engine stand and order the rotary adapter for it...then I'll mount the motor to the stand, and await my lightweight flywheel to arrive, which I've yet to order. Once I get that on, I'll install the rest of the manifolds, turbo, etc and pretty drop the motor in the same way I took it out. I also still need to order SS oil lines, racing motor mounts(if I can find some), and some new oil lines, ya know those little hard orange ones...I hate those things! I think that's about it..my UIM isn't done being polished yet..but should be this week. My TB will be installed w/out the boring, but it has been ported/polished a little w/ the coolant plugged, etc...I'm looking for a mid september finish date...



now how to get it inspected...hmm.....

mazdatrix has competion motor mounts, i just order some. Good luck w/ it man, why don't u test the engine before u put it in this time? and what wast the return policy? free "new" one again, giving it another shot right? Where did u order it froM?

 

The motor is a stageII(stageIII is bridgeport, which I didnt want for my app), its a very large port & polish exhaust and intake ports w/ custom 2mm 2peice seals, oil & coolant passage mods, etc....



24K miles or 2 year warranty....



I won't need to test the engine this time, it's got 0 miles on it...brand new. If it doesn't run, I get a new one free...its from Atkins Rotary whom I've used before for other projects w/ very good results...
