So the Saga begins.



I started to swap out my tired 13BT for a 13B RE engine. Seems like I'll be running into problems more as it gets along.



The biggest problem right now is the primary fuel rail. My stock injectors from the s5 engine will just not drop in.



I tried to take out the stock diffusers out but they don't want to come out and I don't 'want to break them.



When I do drop in the Cosmo's stock secondaries injectors into the primary holes, they drop in but how will they seal up good?



The RE primary injector holes are more related to FD than FC. How are FD guys dropping different injectors into their primaries. I do know they need a custom fuel rail.

Any thoughts?

i use the kg-parts fuel rails on my 13bre. also the injectors i use are from RC ENG only down side is the gromit choice is hard to find localy for me for the tops of the injectors. didnt have any issues with the bottoms.

I asked Keith if I could use the FC rail i got from him for the primary and he said yes, so I got from the just the secondary rail. I guess he was wrong.



WHat type of injectors are you using?

RC Engenering 1200cc primary, 1680cc secondary boshe type injectors wich are of the same size and shape of the stock top feed densos the s4/s5 have, also have used rc-eng 550cc and 750cc and 1000cc bfore with out a problem and ford racing 1600cc injectors work as well. to be honest i have only had problems with the upper gromits never the base so i dont really know what to tell ya.
