S5 Wheel/ Tire widths?

So here's a question... Or two:
A) What's the "ideal" size of wheels and tires for the FC;
B) Will a set of 255/40/18 (F) and 295/35/18 (R) fit under it? How much stick-out will there be?
Got a set of '03 Cobra wheels that would be great, considering I'm kinda planning on either buying a set of, or MAKING a set of custom wide-body fenders for the rear... These puppies should look bad ***, but figured I'd ask, anyway.
