S5 Tii Rats Nest Removal: 2 Diagrams, Which 1?
#1
Alright I've done a LOT of searching for removing the rats nest on an S5 TII but nothing CLEAR came out of it.
I have found two diagrams that show the final result for removing the vacuum rack but they're both different. Specifically in what to do with the lines going to/from the Charcoal Canister.
Which one is correct????

First one is a cleaner setup, the second one is a bit haggard
BTW have fun putting vacuum caps on a turbo motor, the boost will blow them off!
Take new vacuum line and route them into eachother, that way there is no deadheaded nipple.

BTW whatever you do make sure your FPR vacuum line is exposed to constant vacuum. That one in the pic should be okay, just make sure it's one of the nipples that goes into the dynamic chamber rather than getting hidden somewhere in the TB.
I can't remember offhand which vacuum lines near the TB on the chamber actually go into the chamber and which go into the TB where there may/maynot be consistant vacuum.

it needs to see pressure too

i dont like either of those. if you want to eliminate emissions stuff why not just take out the 2 emissions solenoids and cap off the hoses? i mean theres only 4 solenoids total, its not like a cosmo where they have 16!

Mike can you give a diagram for a better configuration? I would love to know a better way that retains the OMP and charcoal can.
stock? seriously, if you take out the acv, you can just cap the vacuum lines at the vacuum rack and call it done.

Dumb question but what do you mean by this?
