Ok im about to buy an s5 TII engine, what all will i need for it to work? I have a haltech so wiring isn't a prob, and the neccessary fuel uprgrades, new competion motor mounts, and a 88 TII drivetrain. Should this be a plug and play type a deal? what about the throttle cable, will it be identical to my old 88 n/a setup? i can't wait for all the parts! and about the oil cooler, should i just buy the RB oil adapter deal and run a ss line to the turbo or what? and is the turbo water cooled? i just got the FC3s aluminum radiator and was wondering about that. oh toys! and i need to make a tap for my new water temp guage right? should i put it in the waterpump? where would be a good place, pics would be nice! And where does my boost gauge hookup to? and vac line or what? is there a certain place onthe turbo? And what about my hks bov, where should the vac line go. OH the toys, the fun, the boost. thxs guys!

well if you have the haltech its really no big deal. the injector plugs are different, on the harness. the oil cooler and lines are the same. you will need the t2 throttle cable. the map sensor plugs into the acv. there is an extra vacuum port near the bac valve, use this for the boost gauge. once you have the motor in your hands it should be pretty simple to figure it out.

Ooohh! Sounds like fun! You're going straight to the Haltech ehh? Lucky you, I'm soo jealous. I think J9fd3s covered just about everything.

Let us know how it comes along. Cause i'm going to convert my 86 n/a to a turbo II as well, hopefully by the end of this month. BTW what's an s5TII, is that an 89TII?
