To proceed unsteadily or falteringly; flounder.

Our new sponsor, www.cheapturbo.com has rebuilds for $250. That's ~$100 cheaper than Majestic.

Does anybody know what exactly the "turbo cartridge" is that Mazdatrix sells for about 500 clams?

Center cartridge as in.....? Shaft, bearings, impellers? Could I put it in my housing and have a balanced assembly?

Is this the time to do an upgrade? I really don't have a lot of money to throw at the car right now, what with the cute little crumb-cruncher and all. What's a good economical but more powerful alternative to the stock turbo?

Did you just ask for 1) good 2) economical and 3) powerful in the same sentence? You gotta sacrifice somewhere. LOL

How old is the motor?, I think you should just get your turbo rebuilt if you drive the car daily. and it sounds like you should have a pro do it.

Car and motor and turbo all have 100k as far as I know. I don't drive the car much except to and from the strip and down the quarter-mile, although I could. No A/C makes it a less-than-desirable summer cruiser.

I want to make the car faster, and I don't much like the idea of spending money just to keep it going at the same speed. More money, more faster!
