Heres the deal I have an 88N/A converted to TII. Rather than do the body work I am looking for a different shell or dead RX7 to put my running gear in.

What I want to know is how hard or what problems would I run into putting S4 TII running gear into a S5 N/A? I plan to go Microtech this winter neways so the S5 ECU wont be a problem.

Whats up man. I can't really answer your question, since I've never done it, sorry. However if you are going to swap it again why not hunt down a vert? There was a S4 in Portland for 1500 obo in the NW section of the evil forum a few days ago. I think it had some marginal front end damage though, so you might not want it.

The motor will bolt right in, as well as all of the other stuff. You should give more details about your setup.

Well the car has a bunch of stuff done to it but the main thing im worried about was the Dash harness in the S5. The micro tech will take care of the engine harness problem of a s4 motor in a S5. Do the plugs (or plug, cant rember if there are 1 or 2) from under the dash plug into the microtech? Because if teh micro tech unit goes in place of the stock ECU id think they would have too.

Lol sorry about the convertible crack! they just arnt as appealing to me as the hard tops
