hope these help, from that third pic you can tell the BOV is stand alone from other emissions/fuel systems. the BOV is simply a valve in the middle of a hose running before and after the turbocharger activated by a vaccuum in the intake manifold/dynamic chamber or whatever it is.

So my vaccum line just goes to the UIM then?

Here are pics of the stock bypass valves. The one with the black sticker on it is a S4 (on the left), and the one with the green sticker is the S5. The S4 is made of aluminum, and the S5 is made of black plastic.
