S4-S5 bumper and fender the same?

Is the S4-S5 bumper and fenders the same.

I need a new front bumper cover and driver side fender for my 88 Se

The front bumper got a mild redesign, but as far as I know, the fenders are identical. Both S4 and S5 bumpers will fit, but no..they are NOT the same.

So the mounting points are the same then right? It just have diffrent design.

I think there is a minor difference in the trim on the fenders from S4 to S5, but I have had to put S5 parts on an S4 and it works fine.

might just be the holes in the fender for the different body side molding

you will want to get all s5 moldings and rear bumper for the car not to look like it has mismatched bumpers and moldings

the fenders are different, in the way the moulding mounts. the s4 mouldings tape on, the s5 has "pins"

also the s4 bumper uses a rubbber "seal" between it and the body, the s5 does not.
