as long as it runs because you dont really know what kind of problems you could be having if it doesn't run... i got lucky and only had a fuel problem (bad tank and pump and ****) and brake problems and rear bushing problems and Powersteering problems and now an oil problem were i dont have a leak but i'm loosing oil

S4 with S5 motor & box!

I agree with most things here (especially those farking balljoints!)

We have the normal belts here on all models, and never bother playing with factory ECU's

But don't forget S5 engine has higher compression, lighter flywheel and rotors, better exhaust manifold & split pulse turbo with much larger wastegate area. None of this really matters if you are upgrading tho

You boys S4 have noticed the resonance that goes thru the gearbox @3500 in 4th at full throttle? S5 gearbox has a harmonic balancer on the output shaft to eliminate that. We use S5 boxes with steel flywheels that take S4 clutches, cos the range of performance clutches in the smaller size is far greater!

lol if that made some sense in any of the 3 times i tried to read that it woulda helped... and i was told that the higher compression rotors weren't any better for somthing
