Just wondering, what can an RX-7 (s5 90) TurboII beat or at least challenge? With or without mods.



I'm thinking an M3 would be a good race for the RX-7. Heard it was quite good against a Porsche 924, no idea about 911 (whatever year). Hjow about the Supra? Or the Volvo T5 (cops use them in the UK, tuned of course! )



Anything else it can whipe the *** off or keep up with?



Please say whether the RX-7 will be stock or modified (if so how much).

Full exaust on a 90' FC with an cold air intake vs. an SHO. (with just cold air) Whip its john hind parts :smirk:

 

1975 Repu with Turbo II engine.. They weight about the same..

and SHO is a ford taurus "super high output", it's basically a tuned out taurus

 

afaik 'tuned out taurus' is quite far from the truth, i believe the sho has a completely different engine that is from yamaha.

 

my mother in law drives a t5...I've never been in a tII, but that damn t5 is quite a thrill...fastest car I've driven, I just can't race it
