Runs Great until warmed UP?
#1
The car will run great until fully warmed up? If I drive it while not fully warmed up no hesitation, and plenty of power. And no I don't make it a habbit of driving my car hard while cold. I did this for diagnostic purposes.
When the car is warm, the hesitation at 3800 is there not to mention a lack of power. Even when I rev it, it cuts out especially if I try to floor it. I regrounded everything, changed fuel filter etc. But that shouldn't have anything to do with this problem. Like I said it runs great until fully warmed up.
thanks

Check your fuel pressures.
What would that have to do with it running poorly when up to operating temperature? Like I said it runs great when not up to full operating temperature. It is my understanding that most cars, rx7 included run richer when first starting up. Since the car runs great when cold it stands to reason that the fuel pressure is probably adequate. I was thinking some sort of temp sensor? I might be way off base here, besides it can't hurt to check fuel PSI, what should it be?

out of adjustment or failing TPS can also cause this.
try turning the screw EVER SO SLIGHTLY to one side, drive the car and see if it made any difference, if it got worse
turn it the other way.
then when its cold check the cold starting.
DONT go turning the screw like a mad man, just give it a 1/4 turn.
I dont do the 2 light thing, I just do it by feel.
