Pulsing Idle Until Car Is Warmed Up
#1
Yea when i start my car in the morning the idle pulses from 900-2000rpm until it is up to temp, does this have anything to do with the tps adjustment, because i just adjusted them perfectly.

S4 cars: normal operating temperature on stock gauge is about 1/4 to 1/3 from "C"
S5 cars: normal operating temperature on stock gauge is about 1/2 from "C"
you have an 89, so 1/2 way is perfectly normal.
i have seen this "surging" during warmup on my car also. i have noticed that an improperly calibrated TPS and vacuum leaks will worsen this effect.
however it is not an indication of any serious problem, so i wouldn't worry about it too much.

yea i kinda figured that, I ran the codes also and there was 17, which is feedback system and it said something about the o2 sesor so i replaced the o2 sensor for 17$, got out my tps tester light's and adjusted them and theres no more pulsing. Car runs a little smoother too, 17$ is nothing, i must of had the original on there.
