I have an 88 rx7...N/A 13b....failed an emissions test badly in the HC dept...runs good other then a bit of an erratic idle....either idles at about 750 or 1200 but never tries to stall out...but you cant stand behind the car the stink is soo bad...its like theres raw fuel spurting out the tail pipes....and it doesn't seem to be a bad cat smell...(that kind of fishy rotten egg smell) there is no smoke coming out the tailpipes but the exhaust coming out is so strong it burns the eyes and nose...any suggestions on what may be causing this....im assumeing its running way too rich but the gas mileage has been pretty good....has a new o2 sensor...not sure what else would cause a rich condition...any help would be appreciated...
