Does a roll cage or bar aid in handling at all or is it merely for safety? Would it be worth the extra weight to install one? I can't see it helping that much but I've read a lot that it helps stiffen the chassis. Can anyone that has one give me any real input?

Thanks

It depends on how many point the roll cage attaches to the body of the car, a standard 4 pt will give som added rigidity, it will not be the same as a 8 or 10pt cage will.
