ok I got to the point to the car where I really cant do anything more. I need the exahust work done and a lm1 wideband, so I can start tuning it. While I'm waiting for that to happen, I'd like to pull the rear bumper ,lights, and moldings off. so i can start sanding and preping it for the body work and paint. I've never really done anything like this before but have a good idea of how to do it and I would like to give it a shot. What grit and type of sand paper do I start with and finish with. I know thats a very important part in this. Also, how far down should I take the paint? Just remove the clear and make sure its all smooth and even? Any advice would be awsome, thanx.

if your serious about me painting the car- dont touch it.
otherwise it depends on the paint/primer system you are using as to what grit you will sand
your car wont have clear on it anyhow- it should be single stage unless it was already repaired/repainted.

Ok, then I just won't touch it because I do really want you to do the car for me. Yes, the car has been repainted, its not the best job either. You'll see it soon enough. I just have to get everything all straitened out w/ the car. Its almost done its just now a matter of me finding a tow company to bring the car the performance shop for the exhaust and a wideband so I can get this thing tuned. Kev told me of a really good tuner up by you, I forget who he was. So hopefully I can just kill two birds with one stone, have you paint the car, then Ill tow it to the tuner while its still up there, then drive it back all nice and ****. Im gonna still remove the rear lights, bumper, and moldings on it, is there any thing else I could do to make it easier for you? Thanks
