Replacing Front Emissions Wiring Harness
#1
The wiring harness that starts at the front on the Air Flow meter....
It goes through the firewall and under the passenger side of the dash. Does the dash have to be removed in order to swap out this wiring harness?
Thanks,
Greg

no, you can do it without doing more than lifting the carpet to get to the connections on the ecu and the kick panel to unplug some other stuff. It pulls right through the hole in the firewall once you get the grommet out and all the connectors disconnected.

Make sure you un-plug EVERYTHING before pulling the harness through the firewall. Especially the "Knock Sensor" controller. It's mounted up on the kick panel. Don't do like me & pull the wires out of the connector.
It also helps if you tape everything up tightly before pulling it through. It will keep you from cutting a wire on the edge of the firewall.
