Replaced Stereo
I finally got around to ditching the oem stereo. I had to re-wire the front speakers, and what is that right front speaker all about? I cut it in the clear and ran new wire to just the speaker. Now I have a Pioneer CD deck feeding a 150 watt Sony amp, bridged, pushing a 12" Toby Sub. I love it when the rear view mirror bounces around. What road noise?
Sweet. Can't wait to hear that one. I had to rewire both of my fronts too. They made that way too complicated, especially with that right one with that circuit board and crap. If I ever meet the guy who designed that... Anyways, yeah, my way overpowered 10" (1000 watt Sony amp) pounds pretty good too. Anyways, yeah, Saturday, we should go hang out somewhere around here. I might be doing quite a bit of work on my car, but I'm sure something in the 24 hours I'll be free
Sounds good, I am anxious to see your car. I am taking mine to a shop Friday, tranny slip getting worse. And by the way, make that two 12" Toby Subs, I had to build a new enclosure for them, and they sound great, but it needs carpet.
Dang, nice. My car got towed to the shop today. Wouldn't start, and between 18 credit hours of college and working nights, I'm too busy to try to fix it, and I need it back as soon as possible, so as soon as I get it back, I'm gonna wire my ports open. Can't believe I had to actually take it somewhere. That really pisses me off. Well, there goes my exhaust money again.
