Humour me here…

The paint on my wiper arms has faded/worn away and I decided to take them off, sand blast them and repaint them. The front ones came off in about 30 seconds, but I spent about 15 minutes trying to get the rear one off and I can’t. The nut has been removed and I tried applying tension to the spring and removing all tension from the spring and it won’t come off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

On mine, I have to push down on the wiper blade itself (Like I am trying to push it through the windshield) that causes the part around the bolt to move enough to get it unlocked from the threads. At least that is what happens to mine. The edge of the hole that goes over the threaded bolt gets caught on the threads and the tension from the spring is enough to make it difficult to remove.
