i have in my possession a 87 6 port rebuilt with all atkins seals and gaskets. i wanna sell it on ebay. but am not sure how to ship it. i was gonna post it in the wanted ads on here too. how does someone go about shipping a motor? and since i never bought one of these cores...how much do they generally go for?

There are quite a few places that will ship motors accross the country. Talk to Kevin at Rotary Ressurection, from what I hear he uses a pretty good shipping company.

I might be interested in the motor, give up some details, just shoot me a PM.

fed ex freight, bring it to them they will put it on a pallet and shring wrap it for you.
