the car in question

i think it might be an 87-88, but it has no sunroof, gtus door panels, and the t2 wheels.

it also has foglights, and the wrong seats, no rear wing, an 86-88 shifter and ebrake handles, and i think brake master? what do you guys think?

well its not an 87-88 unless, they changed both bumper, painted the moldings and everything under thood, including that s5 radiator radiator. Some dealers have screwy options, my 88 GTU has a sunroof and steel hood, they're not supposed to. those are the GTUs rims too.

well.... it would be pretty silly to convert an 87-88 to a 89Gtus, there not gold. you would be better off making it a 90 GTus, or 10 anniv. WEll then again ppl are stupid so it possible.
