I own an '87 GXL...Looking for more power and to let my streetported engine breath a little more freely. I was thinking of putting a RB Downpipe on my car, since it's not really noticable without going under the car.

What kind of power gains will I get?

How much back pressure will I lose?

And...how loud is it?? I only have factory exhaust on my car so I would assume some of the sound produced will be slightly muffled, but how does everyone feel about the noise produced by the Downpipe??

Thanks

Brad

Downpipe? Your car isn't a turbo right? Do you mean headers?

Probably depends on the state. Virginia dictates that you have to have a catalytic convertor but they don't say how many. :]
