Sounds like fuel slosh. Ever happen on a full tank? or always with lower gas amounts?

Im thinking you may just need to do a tune up. I am guessing new plugs (NGK only) and wires will fix the problem, but if its been a while i would also replace (or clean) the air filter and replace the fuel filter.

check your grounding, especially to the fuel pump... you may have something loose, and under hard lateral acceleration it breaks contact for a split-second. do the other electronics seem to falter (clock resetting, lights flickering, radio shutting off or skipping a beat etc)?

Well, grounds are an easy fix, buy a cheap ground kit or make your own for like $15-$20. They sell 40ft of fugly blue 8 guage wire at walmart for like $10 or something and all you have to do is find some extra little crimp on pieces for the ends.
