actually..sorry..the only wires i had messed up...were the trailings...had em crossed...but still.why no fuel!

what exactly does the initial set disable?.....the ECU right, not necessarily disable it but doesnt it stop it from making changes..so if i drove it for about 15 minutes at various RPM's..wouldnt this mess alot of stuff off like fuel, spark, etc, b/c ecu cant make changes?

i find that if you put new plugs in and run the engine for under 100miles or so, the plugs come out looking new. when you jump the coupler it fixes the timing (and presumably fuel) to "set" values, it doesnt hurt anything but the ecu will just ignore some of the sensor inputs

I always remember by thinking the Trailing are the top and the leading are the lower.
