I would quote you on what you've said... but I'm going to leave that one alone...
What on my basis for comparison I made to you about buying things cheap and buying things that are actually junk? It was just a comparison I never actually found a used race rad for $30 bucks.. I did change the thermostat already back in the summer and I plan on using another new one when the car comes back out from winter storage/rebuild in May..

I'm not throwing the old rad back in.. That's for sure..

I was considering a generic aluminum rad that you have to make your own mounts for.. I have seen those for around $150 which is reasonable..

Whatever though.. I just don't want plastic endtanks.. What other options do I have?

I dunno.. I was just curious to see what you guys had gone with and most of you have gone with name brand stuff.. Thanks for the replies!

I have the original OEM plastic tanks radiator, most of them last well over 10 years, mine is now 16 years old, if and when it

goes im getting another OEM plastic tank.

why mess with a good thing?

you can buy brass replacement radiators for about $125,

I put one in a FC last year, it even came with a lifetime warranty.

some people have other problems with thier cars and think that

a radiator is going to solve the problem.

rob you don't plan on changing a damn thing on your car plus you don't drive it... so your stock rad fits your goals perfectly...

i spent an inordinate amt of time trying to figure out how i could make this work. would have been easy to go with a ford or chevy rad ($150) and run an extension hose from one of the misplaced outlets to the pass. side, but that reeked of kludge to me, and to have one of those cheap rads custom built to fit the layout of the car put the price up there with a fluidyne ($400+).

so i got a koyo for $330. it's a work of art, construction looks more reliable than a fluidyne, and it is a no brainer install.
