I have a racingbeat street oil pressure regulater. I noticed it has a nut that can be threaded up and down the regulater . IS this to adjust oil pressure??? or do I just tighten it all the way down then install????

This is my first engine build and i dont want anything to go wrong...

When I talked to the rep over at RB, he told me that it's NOT adjustable. It's just a jam nut..

So, just screw the jam nut all the way down then screw the regulater into the rear housing then tighten the jam nut down..???
