I was just wondering if anyone has the Racing Beat Full Exhaust? 3.15 inch from turbo manifold back with a 32% increase in power on 87 T2. Thats 60 hp more!!! Just want to know if it really works how loud it is.

 

The Racing Beat exhaust is very good. The noise level is all Rotary But also this exhaust is a very big step for a stock 87 T2. Other areas need to be upgraded to be safe for hard daily usage ( ie fuel supply, ignition and computer or add on controlers)

 

Thanks, but is the sound deafening at all or something that will wake the neighbors on early morning drives ? Or is it overall a nice, calm tone

 

it sounds nice but it is loud when on boost. you would want atleast a upgraded fuel pump and FCD RB makes beautiful exhausts they are polished now

 

You would probably want to get this, before you get the exhaust. And you might also want to get a boost controller (if you don't have one already). I've herd of people ******* up their engine after getting the exhaust because of the increase in boost, and lack of fuel.

 

IT works just as advertised. If your motor isn't ported it will be very quiet.
