Default Racing Beat exhaust vendor?

Where is the best place to get a Racing Beat full road race exhaust system for my N/A '86 rx7? $1300 seems a little pricey so is there anyone that has a set for sale or knows where I can get it for less? (first-time rotary owner so I don't know the best parts sources just yet haha)

Try to find used parts. For new, you can't get much cheaper than directly from the manufacturer (racing beat). It's worth it, though. It sounds great, increases power, and will outlast your car.

I got lucky and found a header and presilencer used, for $100 I think it was, and had a shop fab up the rest with a stainless steel magnaflow muffler. I sold it long ago, though.

Exhaust makes a huge difference for a rotary, they're not like piston cars. The exhaust pressure and temperature is extreme, that's why they handle big turbos so well. With that much energy in the exhaust gases, it takes good R&D and construction to make a product that works, and lasts. So, it's worth it.

If you can't afford it, don't get pacesetter or some other cheap garbage, it's not worth it. It will just make it louder, with no power increase, and will rust out in a few years (from what I've read). Ditch the factory cats (huge flow restriction), get a hi-flow cat and save up for the RB exhaust.
