Got a question about the racing beat cat back that claims to add 59 horses. Does an exhaust really give that much hp?

well it claims that on the turbo model. It allows the turbo to spool about 4 psi more. more psi will yeild alot more hp, therfore its believeable.

Well I believe that claim of 59hp is from using their entire turbo back exhaust increasing boost to about 10-11psi. I asked them about this during 7stock and they stood fast to it saying something around "dyno a T2 before and after the turbo back and you'll have your answer". I dont find their claim to hard to believe though. Maybe some T2 owners with the turbo back can chime in........

I bet I can find a lot of them to chime in on how their engines blew after installing that exhaust and an intake. Don't get me wrong...it's one of the best exhausts on the market. It's just that most of them don't expect to have to make fuel mods with it, and then they detonate their engines.

A ported wastegate can solve a lot of problems. You still get a lot of the power gain, too....just not the boost creep.

I never vouched for its ability to work well with a stock fuel system. A friend of mines getting it but has upgraded to 650cc secondaries, Walbro pump and FCD.
