Well, it showed up right on time in a pretty RB box, in perfect condition delivered by Brown. Now maybe sometime before 2008, I'll find the time to put it on the car! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

You don't get much for $81 (including freight), but hey, when a cup of coffee costs five bucks, you don't expect a whole lot for $81.

Stay tuned for a review on the unit's performance, but don't expect it anytime soon! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.gif

Good luck... it's not easy to install. It's hard to drill a hole in the space because the space is so cramped. Then trying to get access to those bell housingbolts... ouch...

To be honest. I didn't notice that much of a differnece. With that brace now the tranny and diff take more of the shock loading compared to the shock being shared across the 3 mounts (engine, tranny, diff). Now it's shared only on two (tranny and diff). I guess the engine shares a little, but not much.

Whew! Well, I got it in and got the car put back together. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif Haven't driven it yet. It's kinda cold and rainy here today.

Kind of a frustrating job. The nut on a stick was definitely the worst part. I must have tried to get that thing threaded on the shaft 50 times before I actually got it. Part of the problem was that I drilled the hole a tad too high and the washer welded to the nut would hit on the top inside of the fender. Had to grind a little of the washer off. The bellhousing bolts were no picnic either, but that went fairly quickly.
