Alright, so Racing Beat seems to be a favorite.

What about the silencer? Is it necessary? How much louder is the car without it?

You can't go wrong with Racing Beat. As for not having the silencer.....people will hear you coming from 10 blocks away w/out and about 3-5 with..... thats about the best description i can give you.

the new pre silencers are stainless, get a shop to make you a stainless

downpipe and your set. They tend to rust quicker the less you

drive the car. Especially if you let it sit over the winter.

I had the RB downpipe and presilencer for a while...only a very little rust on the presilencer, none on the downpipe. I drove the car w/ just the DP and presilencer and it wasn't all THAT loud, so i'd image with a proper catback, the presilencer should keep it down a bit.

We are getting the turbo back exaust in later this week for our '87 T2...you can't go wrong w/ RB...
