What carb came with the kit? Racing Beat site says a mechanical double pumper. But some people say they have a vac secondary carb with their kit.



Anybody get a vac secondary carb with the kit?

not sure which comes with the kit, I would call Racing Beat up or shoot them an email and ask. They have always been pretty good about answering my questions over the phone or email, but from what I've heard, read, seen, and tried on my own car I would aim at the mechanical. I presently have a 600 Holley w/vacuum and have to rig the secondaries to open up. Same for my 670 avenger carb also. Ive changed the vacuum spring numerous times (lighter, stiffer, medium)and it seems like there isnt enough vacuum to open the secondaries. May be diffrent with diffrent setups of course, but just giving you a heads up.

rb kit is vacuum secondary. our engines create plenty of vacuum.

So you got VAC secondaries with your kit?



RB now sells the kit with 600 CFM double pumper(mech secondaries).Seems they were having issues with VAC.
