hey,

i was jumping wires in the pressure sensor plug trying to get the fifth and sixth ports to work on my 88 se. well...when i gave up, i went to start the car and i can't get it to start. it'll turn over, but no spark and no tachymeter movement during cranking.

did i mess something up while i was jumping the wires to one another? and how do i fix this? thanks for any insight on the subject...

went out and rana couple tests...car with key on engine off...i've got .072v to each of the 4 wires going to the CAS. is this correct? i am thinking there is supposed to be 5v on at least one of the lines?

i also tested the two wires going to each of the set of coils. 3 wires had 12v and one seemed to be a ground? i'm gonna go triple check that again...

okay, same thing with the "double connectors" to the leading and trailing coils. i also checked both the leading and trailing for spark and neither are giving off any.

could i have blown the ecu or cas by messin around with the pressure sensor wires?

unfortunately, i've checked the fuses under the hood and in the kickpanel. none of the fuses related to the ignition are blown.

i dunno, maybe you blew the ecu or something. the 6 ports work on pressure, they arent electrical at all

oh, i had assumed the pressure sensor on the passenger side strut tower was what opened the ports.

so what does this thing that says "Pressure Sensor" do?

ecu see load via the air flow meter and the pressure sensor.
