OK Im getting my fuel injectors cleaned here soon, so I have my UIM and TB off. Is it worth it to port and polish the TB, like any noticible gains of power in any range? I figured porting and the TB mod would be good for some noticible power. Any thoughts or experience with porting this?

You get a little response, but I dunno. Makes the car a bit harder to drive, the throttle is mroe ON or OFF, less in between. You'd be fine though probably if you left the dashpot on however.

dont listen to dramon the throttle isnt "on and off" if anything it smoothes it out a bit due to the change in velocity characteristics when you reshape the ports in the TB.

The key with the TB Mod is pritn out good instructions and follow them...TO THE LETTER. otherwise youll be back here bitchin about vacuum leaks and shitty performance and bla bla.

Everyoen also says the idle quality dies with the TB Mod, well i had 0 emissions, no a/c, no p/s, tb ported nicely, tb mod done, no cold start no nothing left, no BAC nothing to control idle but tps, and the idle set screw....my car idled at factory spec of 700rpm...perfectly, everyday. So basically its all about how you do it that determines if your resul;ts will be psotive or negative.

where can we get directions for this mod, and what exactly is the dashpot?

Oh yea are the s4 and s5 throttle bodies the same?
