What are the downsides to having the intake air blow through the AFM as the guys has in that picture? My friend tells me you get better throttle response among a few other advantages, but what about disadvantages?

That is odd. You would think it wouldn't work right.

So i don't get whats in the pic? Is it the afm is moved? i know it had to be level to work properly, don't know if location matters. Are u sure in that pic, that guy isn't running a standalone ems??

i don't think the AFM is supposed to have compressed air going through it........... i'm guessing you could actually damage the AFM if you run a good amount of boost. besides that i think its fine
