I was told to check if my injectors were red or purple. Comes up mine are red. What are the differences?

I am in the slow process of a rebuild. I have taken out the fan shoud, air intake, and other bullshit. There is alot of free room in there now.

With that said should I just buy the purple 550cc injectors if I am gonna street port or should I be fine with the lower 460cc? And where are the other injectors at? On the right side of the manifold under the throttle body?

the little silver box under the intake, is that for low or high impedence? I thought it was for low, but my injectors are red.

or is this a TII-specific thing you are discussing?

460's will be plenty. Im not hitting 85% duty cycle on the stock 460's until nearly 9500 rpm on a ported engine with pretty much all the power mods you can do.

Good to know. Thanks mazspeed7.

Did you say that you were selling one of your 7's? If I may ask, what mods have you done to the one you are talking about?

Ill put up an ad tonight. My GTU, the one in the sig, and the one thats had damn near everything possible done to it is the one for sale. Theres way too much to list here. The engine specs alone take up over half a page.
