what does GXL stand for



and what r all the models of 88 and the hp stats??

Gxl means the luxury edition, all the 88 n/as have 146hp. The turboII's have i believe 182hp(?).

what was so luxury? i drove one and it didnt seem to have any options oh wait it did have the sport top

The GXL also had the big 4-piston brakes, 5-lug wheels (the baloney slicers in 86-88), AC, cruise, power sunroof, and power windows. Leather was an option, as 13BAce said.



Beyond the Redline's second gen page gives a little more info, but all of his pictures are screwed up right now. I don't know what's going on with his site.

Ah, yes, the Auto-adjusting Suspension. How could I possibly forget the endless clicking between "normal" and "sport" by my ex-girlfriend?
