Cory while I've got you in my thread, what the hell paint did you use when you painted your TII motor green/gunmetal?



I got some super high temp gunmetal paint, but it's darker than I remember yours being.

 

rhino liner would also hurt any grounding that you would need wouldn't it?

 

So does paint, your suppost to scrape the paint off and go down to steel when you place a ground.

 

It was from auto-zone.



It was 500 degree Du-pont paint I think.... I'll have to go look at the can.

 

You can do what I am in the process of, I am powderpainting the engine compt of the 89 TII

Ahh.. My can says "Cast Iron Grey", I didn't see a "Gunmetal" labelled can anywhere. This can I got looks exactly like gunmetal, with metallic flake in the paint too. I was just curious if it's the same stuff you picked up.
