pulled my friends 90 GXL engine

spent a few hours sunday and pulled out my friends travis blown engine on his 90 GXL. this is only the second time i pulled a N/A and we only had one problem with one stripped nut. anyway. i pulled off the exhaust manifold and checked the apex seals on the front rotor, one,two, ummm where did the third one go ??? 
his engine was old and probably abused so it probably just wore out and cracked. his engine also had a ton of carbon in it. he is picking up a mazda reman to put in since his car is all stock except for a straightpipe where the cat was
next sunday the new engine goes in

its actually fun to drive the 1958 car like a maniac, because you can get away with it =)
