spent a few hours sunday and pulled out my friends travis blown engine on his 90 GXL. this is only the second time i pulled a N/A and we only had one problem with one stripped nut. anyway. i pulled off the exhaust manifold and checked the apex seals on the front rotor, one,two, ummm where did the third one go ??? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif
his engine was old and probably abused so it probably just wore out and cracked. his engine also had a ton of carbon in it. he is picking up a mazda reman to put in since his car is all stock except for a straightpipe where the cat was https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png next sunday the new engine goes in https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png |
