I'm having some trouble with my 1987 RX-7 Turbo II. Below 3000rpm under slight acceleration the car begins to launch itself foward then suddenly stop and then launch itself foward again and so forth. I correct this by slamming the gas and keeping the revs higher than 3k but i need to know what exactly is causing this problem and who i can fix this...If someone has had similar problems please write to me at d_herrera09@hotmail.com and please have a solution to what you did. Otherwise can someone please help me out here in the forum?

You may be hitting fuel cut. What mods do you have?

I agree, the tps, also check your CAS and make sure your engine timing is set correctly. Let us know what you find.
